Public Bus
To reach Huntington State Beach from Long Beach, you can take the Metro Blue Line (now known as the A Line) from any nearby station. Board the train heading towards Washington Station. Get off at the 5th Street Station and transfer to the Metro Bus Line 43. Board the bus heading towards Bolsa Chica and Pacific Coast Highway. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop for Pacific Coast Highway & Warner Avenue, which is close to the beach entrance. From there, it’s a short walk to the beach.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Long Beach. Start at the Long Beach Bike Path and head towards the beach. Follow the path along the shoreline, which will take you through scenic views of the ocean. Continue on the bike path until you reach Huntington Beach, which is about a 14-mile ride. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the beach entrance on Pacific Coast Highway.
