From Long Beach, head to the nearest Metro Blue Line station, such as the Long Beach Transit Mall. Board a train heading north towards Washington Station. After approximately 30 minutes, transfer at the Washington Station to the Metro Red Line. Board the train towards Union Station. After about 10 minutes, get off at the Chinatown Station. From there, walk north on N Broadway St for about 0.3 miles, then turn right onto N Spring St. Continue walking for about 0.2 miles, and you will arrive at Los Angeles State Historic Park, located at 1245 N Spring St.

From Long Beach Transit Mall, take the Metro Bus Line 61 heading towards the 'Pico Rivera - El Rancho' direction. Ride for about 20 minutes and get off at the stop near the intersection of 6th St and Alameda St. From there, walk north on Alameda St for about 0.5 miles until you reach 1st St. Turn left on 1st St and continue walking for about 0.3 miles until you reach N Spring St. Turn right onto N Spring St, and you'll find the Los Angeles State Historic Park at 1245 N Spring St.
