Walking

From Venice Beach Boardwalk, walk east towards Pacific Avenue. Turn right onto Pacific Avenue and continue south for a few blocks. The canals will be on your left, between Venice and Washington Boulevards. Look for the Venice Canals Walkway signs to find the entrances to the canal area. The walk is approximately 10-15 minutes. Be aware that the sidewalks along the canals are narrow.
Public Transport

From Downtown Santa Monica, take the Big Blue Bus Line 1 towards Venice. Exit at Venice Bl & Pacific Av. From there, walk east on Venice Boulevard, then turn right on Strongs Drive. The canals will be on your right. A single fare on the Big Blue Bus is $1.10.
Driving

From the 405 Freeway, exit onto Venice Boulevard and head west. As you approach Venice Beach, look for street parking along Venice Boulevard or side streets.
