If you're starting near Burbank Town Center, walk to the bus stop at N 1st St & E Magnolia Blvd. Take the Metro Bus Line 162 heading towards 'LAX City Bus Center'. Ride the bus for approximately 30 minutes and get off at the stop 'Sepulveda Bl & Venice Blvd'. From there, transfer to the Metro Bus Line 733 towards 'Santa Monica'. Ride for about 15 minutes and get off at 'Ocean Front Walk & Dudley Ave'. The Venice Beach Recreation Center is just a short walk down the Ocean Front Walk.

    Make your way to the nearest Metro Rail station, which is the Burbank Downtown Station. Take the Metro Line 754 (Red Line) towards North Hollywood. Ride for about 20 minutes and transfer at 'North Hollywood' station to the Orange Line. Take the Orange Line towards 'Canoga Park'. Ride for another 30 minutes and get off at 'Sepulveda & Ventura Blvd'. From here, catch the Metro Bus Line 733 towards 'Santa Monica'. After about 15 minutes, get off at 'Ocean Front Walk & Dudley Ave'. Walk to the Venice Beach Recreation Center along Ocean Front Walk.
