The Venice Beach Recreation Center will be on your left, between the boardwalk and the beach. This walk is approximately 5-10 minutes. Expect to encounter street performers and vendors along the way.

Several bus lines serve the Venice Beach area. From Downtown LA, take the Metro Bus 33 or 333 to Main Street & Grand Avenue. From Santa Monica, take the Big Blue Bus 2 south on Pacific Avenue to Windward Avenue. From these stops, follow the walking directions above to reach the Recreation Center. A one-way Metro fare is $1.75. The regular cost of the day pass is $7, but you can purchase it for $3.50 until 7/20/2022.
