If you are in downtown Menlo Park, start at the Menlo Park Library located at 800 Alma St, Menlo Park, CA 94025. Head south on Alma St towards the intersection with Oak Grove Ave. Turn left onto Oak Grove Ave and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Santa Cruz Ave. Turn right onto Santa Cruz Ave and continue walking until you reach the Menlo Park Caltrain station. From the station, take the Caltrain northbound towards San Francisco and get off at the Redwood City station. Upon exiting the station, walk towards the intersection of Broadway St and Jefferson Ave. From there, you can either take a bus (SamTrans Route 270) towards the 'Seaport Blvd & E Bayfront Expy' stop or walk approximately 1.5 miles south on Jefferson Ave towards Wetland Overlook.

From downtown Menlo Park, make your way to the Menlo Park Caltrain station. Purchase a ticket and board a northbound Caltrain heading towards San Francisco. Get off at the Redwood City station. After exiting the station, head towards the bus stop located near the entrance of the station. Take SamTrans Bus Route 270 or 274 towards 'Seaport Blvd & E Bayfront Expy'. Get off at the stop closest to Wetland Overlook, which is GPVX+MR, Redwood City, CA 94065. From the bus stop, walk approximately 0.2 miles to reach Wetland Overlook.
