Shark Fin Cove is located off Highway 1, a short distance south of Davenport. From Highway 1, look for the unmarked dirt pull-out on the west side of the road (coastal side). This turnout is easy to miss, so use GPS and look for other cars parked along the shoulder. Parking is free. Be aware that the lot can fill up quickly, especially on weekends and during peak season.

From Santa Cruz, take Santa Cruz Metro bus #40 or #42 towards Davenport. Get off at the intersection of Highway 1 and Bonny Doon Road. From there, it's approximately a 12-minute walk (0.7 miles) south along Highway 1 to the unmarked dirt pull-out for Shark Fin Cove. Be cautious walking along the highway. A one-way bus fare is around $2.50.
