Walking
Galatea Effect is located at 25 E Napa St STE E, in Vine Alley, just off the southeast corner of Sonoma Plaza. From the Plaza, walk south towards Napa Street and turn right into Vine Alley. The winery will be on your right. The walk is short and straightforward.
Public Transport
Sonoma County Transit offers bus services throughout the region. From the Sonoma Plaza, the nearest bus stops are a short walk away. Check the Sonoma County Transit website or app for the most up-to-date schedules and routes. A single ride fare is approximately $2. Note: Youth riders under 18 can ride for free until June 2025.
Driving
If driving, navigate to Sonoma Plaza. Free street parking is available around the Plaza, but it is limited to 3 hours between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Saturday. There are two public parking lots near the Plaza: the Casa Grande lot behind the historic Barracks (entrance off First St. East) and a smaller lot behind Sebastiani Theatre (entrance off East Napa St). These lots are free. Galatea Effect is a short walk from either parking location.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxi and ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft are available in Sonoma. Request a ride to Sonoma Plaza or 25 E Napa St. A short ride from most locations within Sonoma should cost approximately $10-$15, depending on demand.
