The gondolas themselves are imported from Venice, Italy, crafted by artisans using traditional methods. Each gondola is made with 280 customized pieces using eight types of wood, taking up to six months to create. During the cruise, you might spot a variety of birds and wildlife, including beavers, seals, and occasionally even river otters or dolphins. The gondoliers share stories about the significance of the Napa River and the history of gondolas, creating a unique and memorable experience. Cruises typically last about 55 minutes and are private, accommodating up to six passengers. Several tour options are available, including wine tasting packages.
