Driving
If driving, enter Napa Valley via Highway 29 or the Silverado Trail. Once in Napa, head towards Soscol Avenue. Follow Soscol Avenue south until you reach China Point Overlook. There is generally ample parking available along the roadside. Be aware that parking can be limited during peak tourist season. From downtown Napa, the drive is approximately 10 minutes.
Public Transport
For those using public transportation, take the Napa VINE bus service. Board Route 10 towards South Napa and get off at the Soscol Avenue stop near Oak Knoll Avenue. From there, it's approximately a 15-minute walk south on Soscol Avenue to China Point Overlook. A single ride on Napa VINE costs $1.75.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity and prefer walking, from Napa's downtown area, head south towards Soscol Avenue. It is approximately a 30-minute walk (1.5 miles). Follow the sidewalks along the road, and make sure to watch out for traffic as you approach the overlook.
