Continue onto Coast Boulevard, following the signs for La Jolla Cove. The walk is approximately 0.3 miles and takes about 5-10 minutes. Enjoy the scenic views along the way. No cost is involved.
Public Transport
From the Old Town Transit Center, take the MTS bus route 30 directly to La Jolla. The bus ride takes approximately 40 minutes, and the bus departs every 30 minutes. Get off at the Silverado Street & Herschel Avenue stop in downtown La Jolla. From there, walk west on Silverado Street, then turn left onto Coast Boulevard to reach La Jolla Cove. The walk is approximately 0.2 miles and takes about 5 minutes. The cost for a one-way bus fare is $2.50.
Taxi/Ride-Share
From San Diego International Airport, a taxi or ride-share service (Uber/Lyft) is a convenient option. The drive to La Jolla Cove is approximately 13 miles and takes about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. The estimated cost for a taxi or ride-share is $45-$55. Alternatively, from the Old Town Transit Center, a taxi or ride-share to La Jolla Cove will cover approximately 9 miles in about 15 minutes, costing around $25-$35.
Parking
