From La Jolla Cove, head southeast on Coast Blvd toward Girard Ave. Continue straight until you reach Prospect St. Turn left onto Prospect St and walk for about 0.5 miles. The La Jolla Recreation Center will be on your right at 615 Prospect St. There are no costs associated with walking.

Public Transport
From La Jolla Village Square, take bus number 30 towards Downtown San Diego. Get off at the stop at Prospect St & Eads Ave. From there, walk south on Eads Ave until you reach Prospect St. Turn left onto Prospect St and the La Jolla Recreation Center will be just a short walk ahead on your left at 615 Prospect St. A single ride on the bus costs $2.50.

Driving to the La Jolla Recreation Center, there are several parking options. Free street parking is available but limited, especially during peak hours. Paid parking lots and garages are located throughout The Village, with rates varying. Valet parking is also available at three locations on Prospect Avenue for around $12. Discounted parking is available for $5 a day at select garages through the La Jolla Village Merchants Association. Be sure to check posted signs for time restrictions and parking enforcement.
