Start by locating the nearest bus stop. If you are at the Chula Vista Civic Center, walk to the bus stop at 276 Fourth Avenue. From there, take the MTS bus route 701 towards San Diego. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'Old Town' station. Transfer to the MTS bus route 105, heading towards La Jolla. Ride the bus for about 25 minutes until you reach the stop at Prospect St & Girard Ave. From the bus stop, walk north on Girard Ave for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with Prospect St. Turn right onto Prospect St, and St. James by-the-Sea Episcopal Church will be on your left at 743 Prospect St.

If you have a bike, start at the Chula Vista Marina. Head northwest on Marina Pkwy and then turn left onto E Street. Continue on E Street until you reach the bike path along the bay. Follow the path for about 4 miles, enjoying the scenic views. Once you reach La Jolla Shores, merge onto La Jolla Blvd and then turn right onto Prospect St. Continue for about 1 mile, and you will find St. James by-the-Sea Episcopal Church at 743 Prospect St.

If you are near the Chula Vista Marina, walk along the marina path towards the north. Continue heading towards the main road, crossing over to the bike path that runs along the coast. Follow the path for approximately 4 miles, which will take you to La Jolla Shores. Once you arrive at La Jolla Shores, continue onto La Jolla Blvd and then turn right onto Prospect St. St. James by-the-Sea Episcopal Church will be located at 743 Prospect St.
