From the intersection of Avenida Del Mar and El Camino Real in downtown San Clemente, walk southwest on Avenida Del Mar towards the ocean. Continue onto Avenida Victoria, which leads directly to the pier entrance. The walk is approximately 0.3 miles and takes about 5-10 minutes. No costs involved.

Take the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner or Metrolink to the San Clemente Pier Station. From the station, it's a short walk to the pier. Exit the station and walk towards the ocean. The pier will be directly in front of you. Train ticket costs vary depending on the origin and distance traveled.

From I-5, exit at Avenida Palizada and head southwest. Turn right onto El Camino Real, then left onto Avenida Del Mar. Continue onto Avenida Victoria to reach the pier. Parking is available in the Pier Bowl area, including a lot at Parque del Mar City Park. Parking costs $1.50 per hour between 10 AM and 5 PM, 7 days a week. Metered street parking is also available.
