If you are in downtown Oceanside, head towards the coast by walking west on Mission Avenue. Continue straight until you reach Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). At this intersection, turn left and walk south for about 0.5 miles. You will see the entrance to Oceanside City Beach on your right, just before you reach the pier.

If you are near the Oceanside Transit Center, take the BREEZE bus Route 101 heading towards 'Oceanside Pier.' The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Oceanside Pier' stop. From there, walk down the pier to reach Oceanside City Beach, which is directly accessible from the pier.
Bicycling

If you are renting a bike, head towards the coast by riding west on Mission Avenue. Turn left onto Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) and continue south. There are bike lanes available. After about 0.5 miles, look for the entrance to Oceanside City Beach on your right, just before the pier. There are bike racks available for parking your bike.
