Discovery Cube Orange County, instantly recognizable by its ten-story solar array cube, has been a landmark in Santa Ana since 1998. Formerly known as the Discovery Science Center and Taco Bell Discovery Science Center, the Cube offers a wide array of interactive exhibits designed to spark curiosity and inspire a love of learning. Inside, visitors can explore themed areas such as the Science of Hockey, which explores the scientific principles behind the game with support from the Anaheim Ducks. Dino Quest allows visitors to unearth ancient mysteries and come face-to-face with life-sized dinosaurs. The Sea Lab provides an opportunity to touch live sharks and explore tidepool ecosystems. Other exhibits include Dynamic Earth, Eco Challenge, and Quake Zone, offering hands-on experiences related to earth science, environmental stewardship and space. The Discovery Cube is committed to providing inclusive experiences, offering Sensory Friendly Mornings with sensory maps and visual cue cards.
