Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from Hollywood Boulevard, walk towards the Hollywood/Highland Metro Station. Take the Metro Red Line towards Union Station and get off at the 7th Street/Metro Center Station. Transfer to the Blue Line heading towards Long Beach. Stay on this train until you arrive at the Long Beach Transit Mall Station. From there, exit the station, and you can either walk towards East Village in Long Beach (about a 15-minute walk) or take a local bus for a quicker route.

From Hollywood Boulevard, walk to the nearest bus stop. Take the Metro Bus Line 212 towards Long Beach. Stay on the bus for approximately 50 minutes until you reach Long Beach. Once you arrive, get off at the Long Beach Transit Center. From the center, you can walk to the East Village area, which is about a 10-minute walk.

If you're comfortable biking, you can rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing stations in Hollywood. Head south towards Sunset Boulevard and join the bike lanes. Continue on Sunset Boulevard until you reach the intersection with Long Beach Boulevard. Follow Long Beach Boulevard down to Long Beach. Once you arrive in Long Beach, navigate to the East Village area, which is a short ride away.
