If you're driving to Pirate Tower, start by entering the address into your GPS: 33.5206509, -117.7645734. From major Orange County highways, take the CA-73 South to Pacific Coast Highway (PCH/CA-1). Continue on PCH until you reach Laguna Beach. Look for the Thousand Steps Beach entrance on Pacific Coast Highway near 9th Avenue. There is limited parking available nearby, which may incur a fee of around $3-$5 per hour. Once parked, walk down the steps to the beach.
Public Transportation
To reach Pirate Tower via public transport, take the Metrolink train to the Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo station. From there, catch the 89 or 1 OCTA bus towards Laguna Beach. Disembark at the bus stop nearest to Pacific Coast Highway and 9th Avenue. Walk down to Thousand Steps Beach. Be prepared for a bit of a hike down the stairs to the beach, where you'll find the Pirate Tower.
