Public Transport
To reach Cheeseboro & Palo Comado Canyon from Santa Monica, start by walking to the nearest Big Blue Bus stop. Take the Line 7 bus towards the Metro Expo Line (Culver City). Ride until you reach the Culver City Expo Station. Here, transfer to the Metro Expo Line towards the Santa Monica City College station. Get off at the last stop, then walk to the Culver City Bus station. From there, take the 13 bus towards Agoura Hills. Get off at Chesebro Rd & Agoura Hills. The entrance to Cheeseboro & Palo Comado Canyon will be a short walk from there.

Biking
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from any of the bike rental stations in Santa Monica. Start your ride towards the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) and head northwest. Follow the bike lanes along PCH until you reach the intersection with Chesebro Rd. Turn left on Chesebro Rd and continue riding until you reach the Cheeseboro & Palo Comado Canyon entrance. Be sure to wear a helmet and follow all cycling safety rules.

Walking
Walking to Cheeseboro & Palo Comado Canyon is quite a trek, but if you're up for it, start from the Santa Monica Pier and head inland. Walk along Colorado Ave until you reach 26th St. Turn right and continue until you reach the intersection with PCH. Cross to the other side and head north on PCH until you reach Agoura Hills. Follow the signs for Chesebro Rd, and you will find the entrance to the canyon. This walk can take a few hours, so it’s best to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
