Discover more about Frontierland Shootin’ Exposition

Step back in time and test your sharpshooting skills at the Frontierland Shootin’ Exposition, a classic attraction in Disneyland's Frontierland. This interactive shooting gallery immerses you in a Wild West setting, reminiscent of an old-time shooting range. Mosey on up to the rustic log cabin and take aim with a replica.54-caliber Hawkins buffalo rifle. Peer through the scope and you'll see the legendary Boot Hill in Tombstone, Arizona, a notorious Old West town. The rifles don't fire pellets; instead, they use safe, invisible infrared light. When the infrared light strikes a sensor on the target, a hit is signaled, triggering entertaining lights, sounds, and animations. Some animations even have a supernatural twist ! The Frontierland Shootin’ Exposition is one of the vestiges of Frontierland as it was in the 1950s. At that time, guests could ride pack mules, walk Wild West-themed trails, and visit an actual gun store. Today, the Shootin' Exposition remains a fun and interactive way to experience the Wild West.
