Discover more about Goofy's Sky School

Goofy's Sky School is a steel wild mouse roller coaster located in Paradise Gardens Park at Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim. The ride re-opened as Goofy's Sky School on July 1, 2011, after initially opening as Mulholland Madness on February 8, 2001. The attraction is inspired by the 1940s 'How To' cartoons, especially 'Goofy's Glider'. Before becoming Goofy's Sky School, the ride was themed after Mulholland Drive in Los Angeles, a winding road known for its panoramic views. The re-theming introduced a story where guests embark on a flight lesson led by the clumsy Goofy, promising comedic mishaps. As you approach the boarding area, you'll see posters advertising Goofy's Sky School, offering flying tips from Goofy. Once aboard your flight-training vehicle, prepare for a wild ride with sharp turns, steep drops, and sudden stops. The ride simulates a crash course in flying, with Goofy's billboards guiding you through lessons like 'How to Take Off,' 'How to Fly,' and 'How to Land'. This family-friendly coaster reaches speeds of up to 27 mph along its 1,200 feet of track. While it may not be the most intense coaster, its unpredictable twists and turns provide plenty of excitement.
