From Pasadena City Hall (100 N Garfield Ave), head north on Garfield Avenue for about 0.5 miles until you reach Colorado Blvd. Turn left onto Colorado Blvd and walk for about 0.3 miles. Look for the entrance to the Arroyo Seco pathway on your right, which leads to the Arroyo Park area. Follow this path for approximately 0.7 miles. Turn right onto N Arroyo Blvd. The Pirate Park will be on your left at 360 N Arroyo Blvd. There is no cost for walking.

Public Transport
Pasadena Transit offers several routes that stop near Brookside Park. Check the Pasadena Transit website or app for the most up-to-date schedules and routes. From the Metro A Line Memorial Park Station, transfer to Pasadena Transit. A TAP card is required to ride Pasadena Transit. The fare is $0.75 per ride, or $1.25 for a day pass. TAP cards can be purchased and loaded at Metro stations.
