The Tech Interactive, formerly known as The Tech Museum of Innovation, stands as a beacon of innovation in downtown San Jose. Designed by Mexican architect Ricardo Legorreta, the museum's vibrant mango and azure building houses three floors of interactive exhibits and labs.
Founded in 1990 and moved to its current location in 1998, The Tech Interactive aims to inspire the innovator in everyone through hands-on experiences. Visitors can explore a variety of exhibits, including the BioDesign Studio, Cyber Detectives, and the Innovation Labs. The BioDesign Studio allows visitors to experiment with genetic engineering, while Cyber Detectives teaches cybersecurity through interactive challenges. The Innovation Labs offer opportunities for creative problem-solving in robotics, coding, and engineering.
