The Tech Interactive is easily accessible via public transportation. From San Jose Diridon Station, take the VTA Light Rail (Blue or Green Line) to the Convention Center Station. The museum is a short 5-minute walk from the station, heading north along Market Street. A single VTA Light Rail fare is $2.50.
Driving
If driving, The Tech Interactive is located near Interstate 280 and Highway 87. Several parking garages are available in the vicinity. The Tech Interactive offers parking validation at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center (150 W. San Carlos St.) and the 2nd and San Carlos Garage (288 S. 2nd St.). With validation, the parking fee is typically $5 flat rate. Without validation, parking rates can vary, but expect to pay around $20-$30 for a few hours.
