Getting There

• Walking

  From any location in Midtown Sacramento, head towards L Street. If you're near the intersection of 28th and L Streets, walk west on L Street. Continue walking until you reach 27th Street, where you will see Sutter's Fort State Historic Park on your right at 2701 L St. The park is just a block away from the intersection.

• Biking

  If you have access to a bicycle, you can easily ride to Sutter's Fort. Start by heading to the nearest bike lane, typically found on major streets like J Street or K Street. Follow the bike lane to 27th Street and turn towards L Street. Continue straight, and you will arrive at Sutter's Fort State Historic Park. Remember to lock your bike at the designated bike racks available at the park entrance.

• Public Transit (Bus)

  To reach Sutter's Fort via public transit, locate the nearest bus stop serving Sacramento Regional Transit. Take Bus Line 30 or 38, which both have stops near the park. If you're on Line 30, get off at the 27th Street & L Street stop, and walk one block east to the park entrance.
