From the Del Mar Village, head north on Camino Del Mar (Highway 101). Walk past 29th Street, and you'll find access points to Dog Beach on your left. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes, offering scenic views of the coast. No costs involved.
Public Transport
From the Solana Beach Train Station, take the NCTD Breeze Route 101 bus heading south. Get off at the stop closest to 29th Street and Camino Del Mar. Walk west towards the beach. The bus fare is approximately $2.50.
Driving
From Interstate 5, exit at Via De La Valle and head west. Turn left onto Camino Del Mar (Highway 101). Continue south until you reach the area near 29th Street. Parking is available along Camino Del Mar and 29th Street. Parking costs approximately $4 per hour or $20 per day. Parking can be limited, especially during peak season.
