Getting There

  • Driving

    From I-5, exit at E Street and head west towards Gunpowder Point Drive. Follow Gunpowder Point Drive to the traffic circle, take the first exit, and turn left into the parking lot. Parking is free. A complimentary shuttle provides transport from the parking lot to the Discovery Center entrance. The shuttle runs every 15 minutes between 10:00 AM and 4:30 PM. There is no walking or biking access to the Living Coast Discovery Center.

  • Public Transport

    Take the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) bus lines 704, 705, or 932 to the E Street Transit Center. From there, transfer to the new Chula Vista Bayfront Shuttle, Blue Line, which connects the shoreline to key areas including the Living Coast Discovery Center. The Bayfront Shuttle is free and runs daily from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.
