If you're driving from downtown San Diego, take I-5 South. Continue on I-5 South for approximately 6 miles. Take exit 8 for Civic Center Drive and turn left onto Civic Center Drive. Continue straight, and then turn right onto E 8th St. After a short distance, turn left onto Highland Ave, which will lead you to the Old San Diego Trolley Bridge in National City, CA 91950. Parking is available nearby, but be aware of any parking fees that may apply.

To reach the Old San Diego Trolley Bridge using public transportation, head to the nearest San Diego Trolley station. If you're in downtown San Diego, take the Blue Line Trolley towards San Ysidro. Ride the trolley for approximately 10-15 minutes and get off at the 24th St. station. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk. Head east on E 24th St, then turn left onto Highland Ave which will lead you to the bridge. Be sure to check the MTS website for the latest fare information, as a one-way ticket costs around $2.50.
