Public Transport
Petco Park is easily accessible via San Diego's public transportation network. The MTS Trolley offers direct service to the ballpark with three stations within two blocks: 12th and Imperial, Park and Market, and Gaslamp Quarter Station. The Coaster train also connects to downtown San Diego. A one-way trolley fare is around $2.50. Consider purchasing a PRONTO card for easy fare payment.
Walking
Petco Park is located in downtown San Diego, adjacent to the Gaslamp Quarter. If you are in the downtown area, walking to the ballpark is a convenient option. From the San Diego Convention Center, it's a short walk across Harbor Drive via the pedestrian bridge. From the Santa Fe Depot, it is approximately a 25-minute walk.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxi and ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft are readily available in San Diego. A designated ride-share loading zone is located on Park Boulevard & Harbor Drive. A short ride from downtown hotels or the airport will typically cost between $15-$25, depending on traffic and distance.
Driving
If driving, major thoroughfares like Pacific Highway, Interstate 5, State Route 163, and State Route 94 provide access to downtown San Diego. Pre-purchasing parking online is highly recommended due to limited availability and increased traffic. Padres preferred parking is available adjacent to Petco Park. Parking costs can range from $15-$50 depending on the lot and proximity to the stadium. Street parking may be available, but be aware of parking restrictions.
