    From State Street, head east towards the intersection with Arrellaga Street. Continue walking on Arrellaga Street until you reach Mission Street. Turn left on Mission Street and walk until you reach Plaza Rubio. The Mission Rose Garden is located at 420 Plaza Rubio, just a short walk from here.

    Catch the MTD bus line 2 or 3 from any downtown Santa Barbara location. Ride the bus towards the Eastside and get off at the stop at Mission and Plaza Rubio. From the bus stop, walk south on Plaza Rubio for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at the Mission Rose Garden located at 420 Plaza Rubio.

  • Biking

    If you have access to a bike, start from the Santa Barbara waterfront and ride along the bike path towards East Beach. Continue past the Santa Barbara Zoo and head up. Follow the bike lanes to Mission Street and then turn left on Plaza Rubio. The garden will be on your right at 420 Plaza Rubio.
