    If you're starting at Avalon, the main town on Santa Catalina Island, head to the Avalon Pier. From there, take the Catalina Express ferry to Long Beach. Once you arrive at Long Beach, board a Metro Blue Line train towards Washington Station. Transfer at Washington Station to the Metro Green Line and get off at the Aviation/LAX Station. From there, take a bus or taxi to Huntington Beach. The museum is located at 411 Olive Ave. It's a short walk from the nearest bus stop.

    If you're driving, you will need to take the Catalina Express ferry from Avalon to Long Beach. Once you reach Long Beach, get on the 405 Freeway heading south. Take exit 25 for Beach Blvd and continue on Beach Blvd towards Huntington Beach. Follow Beach Blvd for about 12 miles until you reach Olive Ave. Turn left on Olive Ave, and you will find the Huntington Beach International Surfing Museum on your right at 411 Olive Ave.
