Public Bus
To reach the Los Angeles River Bike Path & Riverside Dr from central Santa Clarita, start by locating the Santa Clarita Transit bus station at 20100 Soledad Canyon Rd. Take the Line 7 bus towards the Newhall Metrolink station. Once you arrive at the Newhall station, transfer to the Metrolink service heading towards Los Angeles Union Station. Get off at the Burbank Downtown station, which is one of the closest stations to Riverside Dr. From Burbank Downtown, walk south to Olive Ave, then head east for about 10 minutes until you reach Riverside Dr. The Los Angeles River Bike Path will be accessible from there.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bicycle from a local rental shop in Santa Clarita. Start at the Santa Clarita Valley Bike Shop located at 22629 1/2 Lyons Ave. After renting your bike, head southeast on Lyons Ave until you reach the intersection with Soledad Canyon Rd. Turn right onto Soledad Canyon Rd and continue until you reach the intersection with the River Trail. Follow the bike path that leads towards the Los Angeles River Bike Path, which will take you directly to Riverside Dr.

Walking
For those who wish to walk, start at the Santa Clarita Town Center located at 24201 Valencia Blvd. From the Town Center, head west on Valencia Blvd and then turn left onto Magic Mountain Pkwy. Continue walking south until you reach the intersection with McBean Pkwy. Cross the road and continue walking straight until you reach the entrance of the Newhall Ranch Road Trail. Follow this path south until you reach Riverside Dr. The bike path can be accessed from this point.
