From any point in Downtown Santa Monica, head towards the Santa Monica Promenade. If you're near the Third Street Promenade, walk towards the intersection of Third Street and Colorado Avenue. From there, continue straight on Colorado Avenue until you reach Ocean Avenue. Turn left onto Ocean Avenue, and then head south toward the beach. After a short walk, you will reach the Santa Monica Pier. The Santa Monica Pier Carousel is located at 1624 Ocean Front Walk, just to the right when you enter the pier area.

If you are further away in Downtown Santa Monica, you can take the Big Blue Bus. Look for the 1 or 8 lines that have stops throughout Downtown.
