From the heart of Downtown Santa Monica, head south on 4th Street. You will pass by various shops and restaurants. Continue walking straight until you reach Colorado Avenue. Turn left on Colorado Avenue, and keep walking until you reach the intersection with Ocean Avenue. At this point, you will see the entrance to Santa Monica Pier directly in front of you. The walk is approximately 0.5 miles and should take around 10-15 minutes.

If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike share stations in Downtown Santa Monica. Head south on 4th Street and then turn left on Colorado Avenue. After a short ride, you'll reach Ocean Avenue where you can park your bike at the designated bike racks near the pier. The bike ride is also about 0.5 miles and should take approximately 5 minutes.

You can take the Big Blue Bus line 1 or 7 from various stops in Downtown Santa Monica. Look for the bus stop nearest to you. Board the bus heading toward the Santa Monica Pier.
