Driving
From downtown Truckee, head west on Donner Pass Road for approximately 2 miles. The entrance to Donner Memorial State Park will be on your left, clearly marked with signage. Parking is available within the park for $10 per vehicle from May 1 to September 30 and $5 per vehicle from October 1 to April 30. Payment can be made at the Visitor Center or via the automated pay machine outside the Visitor Center. Be aware that parking can be limited during peak season.

Public Transport
Take Truckee's TART Connect, a free on-demand shuttle service, to Donner Memorial State Park. TART Connect operates from 6:30 am to midnight. Alternatively, use TART fixed route buses and shuttles. Check the Truckee Transportation & Maps website for schedules and routes. From the nearest TART stop, follow the park's signs to the visitor center and main attractions. There is no cost for the shuttle, making it a convenient and eco-friendly option.
