The walk offers beautiful views of Carmel Beach and the Pacific Ocean. Be mindful of traffic along Scenic Road, as there is a walking path for only a portion of the way. Allow approximately 20-30 minutes for the walk. Free street parking is available in downtown Carmel, but it can be limited, especially during peak season.

From Highway 1, take the Ocean Avenue exit towards Carmel-by-the-Sea. Follow Ocean Avenue into town and turn left onto Scenic Road. Continue along Scenic Road for approximately 1 mile. The Clinton Walker House will be on your right. Limited street parking is available along Scenic Road. Parking is free. Be aware that parking spots fill up quickly, especially during weekends and holidays. Consider parking further away and walking to the location. There are free, unlimited time parking at the Vista Lobos public parking lot, located on Torres Street and 3rd Avenue. The Del Mar parking lot, located at the base of Ocean Avenue near the beach, also offers parking.
