    Micke Grove Zoo is located at 11793 N. Micke Grove Rd, Lodi, CA 95240. From Highway 99, exit at Eight Mile Road or Armstrong Road and follow the signs to Micke Grove Regional Park. Once inside the park, follow the signs to the zoo, located in the back left corner. Parking is available within the park for $5 on weekdays, $6 on weekends and most holidays, and $10 on special holiday weekends.

Micke Grove Zoo, a delightful 5-acre zoo, opened in 1957 and is located within the expansive Micke Grove Regional Park in Lodi, California. The zoo is home to over 130 animal specimens, representing over 50 different species from around the world. The park itself was established in 1938 when the Micke family donated 258 acres of oak-filled land to San Joaquin County. Today, the park also includes a Japanese Garden, the San Joaquin County Historical Society and Museum, and an amusement park, offering a variety of activities for visitors of all ages. The zoo focuses on providing quality care to a diverse collection of exotic and native species. Exhibits like the Tropical Forest Canopy and Island Lost In Time showcase animals such as lemurs, radiated tortoises, green iguanas, and Prevost's squirrels. The zoo also participates in the Species Survival Plan (SSP) to help ensure the survival of endangered species. Micke Grove Zoo has successfully bred golden lion tamarins, Chilean pudu, and Waldrapp ibis as part of this program.
