Numerous picnic areas, some reservable, offer comfortable settings for gatherings.Throughout the year, Donnelly Park hosts community events, from the annual Turkey Trot Fun Run to Turlock Pride. In 1998, the community built the Turlock Children's Play Park, later renamed the Augusta Bates Children's Play Park, a whimsical wooden structure designed with input from local children, showcasing the town's commitment to its youth.
