At the Hayward BART Station, transfer to the BART train towards Richmond and get off at the Coliseum Station. From Coliseum Station, transfer to the AC Transit Bus Line 73 towards Park & Ride. Ride for about 6 stops and get off at the stop near 9777 Golf Links Rd, Oakland. The Oakland Zoo will be a short walk from the bus stop.

Make your way to the nearest BART station in Union City. Board a BART train heading towards San Francisco/Daly City. Ride the train for about 4 stops and get off at the Coliseum Station. After exiting the BART station, take the AC Transit Bus Line 73 towards Park & Ride. Ride for approximately 6 stops and disembark at the stop closest to 9777 Golf Links Rd, Oakland. The Oakland Zoo will be a short walk from there.
