    Start at the Venice Beach Boardwalk. Head south on Ocean Front Walk until you reach the end of the boardwalk. This will take you to the intersection with Washington Blvd. Turn left onto Washington Blvd and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Lincoln Blvd (approximately 0.5 miles). Cross Lincoln Blvd carefully and continue straight on Washington Blvd until you reach the intersection with Playa Vista Dr. Here, you will see signs directing you toward Ballona Wetlands. Follow Playa Vista Dr to its end, where it intersects with Culver Blvd.

  • Public Transit

    From Venice Beach, make your way to the nearest Metro Bus stop on Washington Blvd. Take the Metro Bus Line 33 towards 'LAX City Bus Center.' Ride for approximately 10-15 minutes until you reach the stop at 'Culver Blvd & Jefferson Blvd.' From there, transfer to the Metro Bus Line 115 towards 'Playa Del Rey.' Ride for another 10 minutes and get off at 'Playa Del Rey & Culver Blvd.' Walk south on Culver Blvd for about 5-10 minutes to reach the entrance of Ballona Wetlands Ecological Reserve.
