Walking
If you are starting from the Venice Beach Boardwalk, head east towards Pacific Avenue. Continue walking straight on Pacific Avenue until you reach the intersection with Rose Avenue. Turn left onto Rose Avenue and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Ocean Front Walk. Continue straight and cross over to get to Ocean Front Walk, then head south along the beachfront path. After about 1 mile, you will reach the Long Beach area. Follow Ocean Front Walk to a nearby bus stop and catch the Long Beach Transit bus that will take you to downtown Long Beach. Get off at the stop closest to Linden Avenue. From there, walk a short distance to 149 Linden Ave, where Blind Donkey is located.
Public Transit
From Venice Beach, make your way to the nearest bus stop on Pacific Avenue. Take the Big Blue Bus Line 1 or 3 towards Santa Monica. Get off at the Santa Monica Transit Center. From there, transfer to the Metro Line 33 towards Long Beach. Stay on the bus until you reach the Long Beach Transit Mall. Walk a few blocks to Linden Avenue, turn left, and proceed to 149 Linden Ave to find Blind Donkey.
Bike Rental
If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Venice Beach. Head east on Venice Boulevard until you reach Pacific Avenue. Turn right onto Pacific Avenue and continue south. Follow the bike lanes and keep straight until you reach Long Beach. Once in Long Beach, follow signs to downtown, and make your way to 149 Linden Ave where Blind Donkey is located. Enjoy a drink after your ride!
