Walking
From Venice Beach, head east on Venice Boulevard. Continue walking straight for about 2.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Lincoln Boulevard. Turn left onto Lincoln Boulevard and continue walking for another mile. You will reach the Santa Monica Pier. From there, take the Big Blue Bus #1 (towards Downtown LA) and get off at the stop on Sunset Boulevard at Riverside Drive. After getting off, walk south on Riverside Drive until you reach the entrance to Elysian Park, located at 835 Academy Rd.
Biking
If you prefer to bike, rent a bike from one of the rental shops on Venice Beach. Cycle east on Venice Boulevard for 2.5 miles. When you reach Lincoln Boulevard, turn left and continue on Lincoln for about a mile until you reach the Santa Monica Pier. From there, you can take the Big Blue Bus #1 (towards Downtown LA) to Sunset Boulevard at Riverside Drive. Once you get off, bike south on Riverside Drive until you reach Elysian Park's entrance at 835 Academy Rd.
Public Transportation
To reach Elysian Park via public transport, start at Venice Beach and walk to the nearest bus stop on Venice Boulevard. Take the Big Blue Bus #1 heading towards Downtown LA. Stay on the bus for approximately 40 minutes, and get off at the stop on Sunset Boulevard at Riverside Drive. From there, walk south on Riverside Drive, and you will see the entrance to Elysian Park at 835 Academy Rd.
