    From Venice Beach, head east on Ocean Front Walk towards Windward Avenue. Turn right onto Windward Avenue and continue until you reach Pacific Avenue. Turn left on Pacific Avenue and walk until you reach the intersection with Rose Avenue. Here, you can take a Big Blue Bus (Line 1) towards Santa Monica. Get off at the stop at the intersection of Lincoln Blvd and Washington Blvd. Transfer to the Metro Expo Line at the Culver City station towards Downtown LA. Get off at the 7th Street/Metro Center Station and transfer to the Metro Red Line towards Union Station. Finally, get off at the Civic Center/Grand Park station, and walk north along Grand Avenue for about 5 minutes to reach Mark Taper Forum at 135 N Grand Ave.

    Public Transport

    Start at the Venice Beach Boardwalk and walk to the nearest Big Blue Bus stop on Windward Avenue. Take the Big Blue Bus Line 1 towards Santa Monica. After 20 minutes, get off at the Lincoln Blvd/Washington Blvd stop. From there, catch the Metro Expo Line at the Culver City station heading towards Downtown LA. After approximately 30 minutes, transfer to the Metro Red Line at the 7th Street/Metro Center station towards Union Station. Get off at the Civic Center/Grand Park station. From the station, walk north on Grand Avenue for about 5 minutes to arrive at Mark Taper Forum located at 135 N Grand Ave.

    Biking

    If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops near Venice Beach. Start at the Venice Beach Boardwalk and bike east towards Washington Boulevard, then take a left onto Washington Boulevard. Continue on Washington Boulevard until you reach Lincoln Boulevard. Turn right on Lincoln Boulevard and bike until you reach the Culver City Metro Station. Lock up your bike and take the Metro Expo Line towards Downtown LA. Get off at the 7th Street/Metro Center Station, switch to the Metro Red Line towards Union Station, and get off at Civic Center/Grand Park.
