    Getting There

    Walking

    If you are in the Venice Beach area, start at the Venice Beach Boardwalk. Head northeast along Ocean Front Walk until you reach Rose Avenue. Turn left onto Rose Avenue and walk until you reach Lincoln Boulevard. Cross Lincoln Boulevard and continue walking east on Rose Avenue until you reach the intersection with Washington Boulevard. Turn right onto Washington Boulevard and continue until you reach the intersection with Pacific Avenue. At this point, you should be near the Venice Beach Recreation Center. Continue straight, and you will eventually reach the 101 Freeway. Here, you will have to take public transport options to Pasadena, as it's a bit far to walk.

    Public Transport

    After reaching the Venice Beach Recreation Center, head to the nearest bus stop on Washington Boulevard. You can catch the Metro Bus Line 33 towards 'Pico & Sepulveda.' Ride the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the 'Union Station' stop in downtown Los Angeles. From Union Station, transfer to the Metro Gold Line towards 'Pasadena.' Stay on the Gold Line for about 25 minutes and get off at the 'Del Mar Station.' From there, it's a short walk to 20 N Raymond Ave. Just head north on Raymond Ave, and you will arrive at your destination in about 5 minutes.
