Start at the Venice Beach Boardwalk and head east towards Pacific Avenue. Continue on Pacific Avenue until you reach Rose Avenue. Turn left onto Rose Avenue and keep walking straight. After about 1.5 miles, you will reach Lincoln Boulevard. Cross Lincoln Boulevard and continue straight along the path leading to the Culver City Expo Line station at Washington Boulevard. From there, take the Expo Line towards Downtown Los Angeles and get off at the Aviation/LAX station. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the Theme Building, which is a short walk from the station.
Biking
Rent a bike from one of the many bike rental shops along the Venice Beach Boardwalk. Start by heading east on the boardwalk until you reach the intersection with Pacific Avenue. Turn left onto Pacific Avenue and keep biking straight for about 1.5 miles until you reach Rose Avenue. Turn left on Rose Avenue and continue until you hit Lincoln Boulevard. Cross Lincoln Boulevard and keep going straight until you reach the Culver City Expo Line station on Washington Boulevard. Park your bike and take the Expo Line towards Downtown Los Angeles, getting off at the Aviation/LAX station. Follow the signs to the Theme Building, which is a short walk from the station.
Public Transit
From Venice Beach, walk to the nearest bus stop on Pacific Avenue. Take the Metro Bus Line 33 towards Santa Monica and get off at the stop near the Jefferson/La Cienega station. Transfer to the Metro Rail's Expo Line at the Culver City station towards Downtown Los Angeles and alight at the Aviation/LAX station. Once there, follow the signs to the Theme Building, which is just a short walk away from the station.
Rideshare
Use a rideshare app like Uber or Lyft. Set your pickup location at your current spot in Venice Beach and enter '201 World Way, Los Angeles, CA' as your destination.
