    From Fisherman's Wharf, take the Powell-Hyde cable car to the top of Lombard Street. The cable car fare is $8 per person. Alternatively, take bus line 30 from Union Square to Columbus Avenue near Lombard Street, then walk a few blocks west uphill to Jones Street. The bus fare is $3.

    From North Beach or Fisherman's Wharf, walk uphill to Lombard Street between Hyde and Leavenworth Streets. Be prepared for a steep incline. Walking up Hyde Street from Ghirardelli Square is very steep, while Leavenworth is slightly less so.

    Take a taxi or ride-share service to the top of Lombard Street (1099 Lombard Street). From Fisherman's Wharf, a typical ride-share trip will cost approximately $15-$20, depending on traffic.
