From Westside, head east on CA-62 E. Continue for approximately 40 miles until you reach the junction with CA-177 N. Take the exit to merge onto CA-177 N towards Desert Hot Springs. After about 20 miles, turn right onto CA-10 E and follow for 25 miles. Take exit 117 for CA-62 E towards 29 Palms. Continue on CA-62 E for about 15 miles, then turn left onto Essex Rd. Continue straight for about 5 miles until you reach Mitchell Caverns at 38200 Essex Rd, Essex, CA 92332.
