If you are traveling by car, start by heading south on Lincoln Boulevard (CA-1) from wherever you are in Westside. Follow Lincoln for about 2 miles until you reach the intersection with Venice Boulevard. Turn right onto Venice Boulevard and continue straight for approximately 1.5 miles. As you approach the beach, you'll notice signs for Venice Beach. Turn left onto Pacific Avenue, and then you can find parking options nearby. Note that parking may incur a fee, usually around $10-$20, depending on the lot.
Public Transportation - Bus
For public transportation, you can take the Metro Bus Line 733 or 33 from various locations in Westside. Board the bus heading towards Venice Beach. Stay on the bus for about 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. You will want to get off at the stop near Pacific Avenue and Venice Boulevard. From there, it is a short walk towards the beach. The bus fare is approximately $1.75, and you can purchase a TAP card at the station.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous and want to bike, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Westside. Head west towards the beach, following the bike lanes along Venice Boulevard. The ride is about 3 miles and should take around 20-30 minutes. Once you reach Venice Beach, you can lock your bike at designated bike racks along the boardwalk.
Walking
If you are close enough, walking to Venice Boardwalk can be a scenic experience. Start walking towards the beach by heading down to Venice Boulevard and make your way to Pacific Avenue. The walk may take a while, depending on your exact starting point, but you'll enjoy the local sights and shops along the way.
