From the center of Battambang, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Start by heading southwest on Street 1 (Street 1 is also known as 'Street 1.5'). Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Street 2. Turn left onto Street 2 and ride for about 1 kilometer. You will pass local markets and shops along the way. Keep riding straight, and you will eventually see signs pointing to Phnom Sampow. Continue riding for approximately 4 kilometers until you reach the entrance to the Phnom Sampow area.

Tuk-Tuk
Find a tuk-tuk near the central market or any popular tourist area in Battambang. Negotiate a fare with the driver to take you to Phnom Sampow, which is approximately 12 kilometers southwest of the city center. The driver will take you along Street 1 to the west and then connect to the main road leading to Phnom Sampow. Expect the journey to take about 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Enjoy the scenery as you head out of the city.

If you’re feeling adventurous and want to explore on foot, start from the center of Battambang. Head southwest on Street 1 until you reach the junction with Street 2. Turn left onto Street 2 and walk for about 1 kilometer until you reach the outskirts of the city. Continue on Street 2, which will eventually lead you to the Phnom Sampow area. The total distance on foot is about 12 kilometers, so prepare for a long walk and bring plenty of water. Expect to take around 3 hours, depending on your pace.
