Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from central Kampong Speu, take National Road 4 (NH4) heading towards Phnom Penh. After about 35 kilometers, you will reach the outskirts of Phnom Penh. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Street 308. Turn left onto Street 308 and drive for approximately 500 meters. Bassac Square will be on your right. Parking may be available nearby, but be prepared to pay for parking fees, which can vary by location.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  To reach Bassac Square using public transportation, you can catch a bus from Kampong Speu to Phnom Penh. Buses frequently depart from the main bus station in Kampong Speu. The journey will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Phnom Penh, you can take a tuk-tuk or a moto-taxi to Bassac Square. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand; it should cost around $2 to $4 depending on your starting point.

• Tuk-Tuk

  If you prefer a direct route, you can hire a tuk-tuk from any location in Kampong Speu. The driver will take you along National Road 4 towards Phnom Penh. This option may be more expensive than the bus, typically costing between $15 and $25 for the ride to Bassac Square, depending on your starting point and negotiation skills.

• Moto-Taxi

  For a quicker journey, consider taking a moto-taxi from Kampong Speu to Bassac Square. Moto-taxis are available throughout Kampong Speu. The fare will generally be lower than a tuk-tuk, around $5 to $10, but ensure you agree on the price before starting your journey. The ride will take approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.
